Promoting the King James Bible and Refuting Calvinism and Arminianism

Resources

Resource Material and Donations:

Because the Koons Evangelistic Ministry is all about teaching pastors and churches about the King James Bible, and refuting Calvinism and Arminianism, and is also about getting good reference material into the hands of Christians, so they might be edified, Dr. Koons offers the following books:

What is so Special about the King James Bible?

This book is just shy of 500 pages, and presents information concerning inspiration, preservation, and the translation of the King James Bible. It also gives an introduction to the origin of modern Textual Criticism, and its effect on modern Bibles. It also presents facts about how modern Bibles came into existence, and why they are so different from the King James. Additionally, it addresses why the New King James is NOT a revision of the King James, any more than the Revised Version of 1881 was a revision of the King James. Finally, time is also spent showing how the supposed “least supported text in the Bible” (1 John 5:7), has a very long history of support, predating both Codex Vaticanus, and Codex Sinaiticus.

The Biblical View of Salvation with a Refutation of Calvinism and Arminianism

This book is about the doctrine of salvation; presented from the Biblical position, paralleled by the Calvinistic position, beginning from eternity past, the creation period, and the post creation period. It then covers Justification, Sanctification, and finally Glorification. Finally, the book covers the five points of T.U.L.I.P., including a teaching Calvinism tries to cover up Evanescent Grace. Evanescent Grace is a teaching of Calvinism that philosophically explains how a person who seemed to be saved for years, ends up turning away from the faith.

This book is 604 8.5 x 11 pages.

The price for this book is $40.00, plus shipping.

Jesus Christ Saviour and Lord

This book is intended to distinguish between Justification, and Sanctification. Additionally, it is intended to show how both Calvinism and Arminianism take extreme views, in opposite directions of each other; Calvinism taking the extreme position of the sovereignty of God, while Arminianism takes the extreme view of the free will of man.

The Perfection of the Word of God

This book is a practical presentation of how the Word of God is perfect from several different perspectives.

The price for this book is $10.00, plus shipping.

A Look at Tongues in the Bible

This book covers the teaching of tongues; first from the book of Acts, and then from the book of 1 Corinthians.

An Informal Review of “The Contribution of Johann Salomo Semler to the Historical Criticism of the New Testament” by Boris Paschke.

Semler is considered the “Father of Textual Criticism”. Paschke wrote this article that was published in the Concordia Theological Quarterly, Volume 80:1–2 January/April 2016. The article gives an insight into who Semler was, and further shows his mindset concerning both the Bible, Jesus, and the Apostles. The article also reveals the real purpose of Textual Criticism. (Hint, it is not to reconstruct the wording of the original texts.)

The price of this book is $5.00, plus shipping. (However, if a Pastor books a meeting with me to at least present my work at his church, I give one to the Pastor, at no cost.)

Dr. Bob Walker

Lest We Forget revisits the history of our English Bible by giving an overview of those involved in translating the word of God into the English language from the late 1300’s to 1611. It chronicles the lives and sacrifices of those men as well as the Bibles they produced.
